Default Map Completion Individual Percentials

I've been working on some of my Map Completion Titles in various locations wether it is Tyria, Cantha, or Elona. My Dervish has a percential of 98.6% in Elona and I can't seem to find any other places to explore. I've looked at a map, compared the map to my map studing it with time and still have a hard time getting the title.

As of right now I've gave up trying to get the last bit of percentage sense I've spend so many hours re-exploring areas. I figured what if they had seperate percentages in each area to help the exploration of the map? Aye I think its a great idea and its not like we are trying to nerf anything either .

I'll try to give an example if its a bit hard to understand.

For me I have 98.6% of the map completed. So if I look at the map and it says for example * Sunward Marches * and under it in small type 99.4% I would know that I haven't explored the area completely. Thus in order to do so I would have to get 100% in that area.

Picture Example: (NOTE THIS ISN'T REAL )

I already said that I like the idea plus it would help those who can't seem to get the map completed what do you all think?

But well, then the challenge to find the little peace you need in order to get 100% is just gone, and for me, that's the most fun part of it all

I love this idea. I have a character myself, and I can't figure out what I have to explore to get the next title.

getting 100% should be a challange... I do however agree that they shouldn't force us to wall hug for tiny spots.

Instead of showing the percentage under the names...:
  1. Make this feature appear once you have 95%, never before.
  2. Make you ENTER the area to know the percentage.
  3. The percentage will appear in the M map between brackets, next to the area name at the botton.
  4. The percentage will appear at the end of the U map window title, between brackets too.

Then, even with this, youll have to get 95% and reenter every area in order to find were have you missed something.

That seems to be a long way to force someone to find what they are unsure of having missed. Now, indication for 95% is a good idea since those areas should be large enough that if you knew you were missing something there, then you could attempt to locate it. But it should indicate it at all times when you do have around 95% found, below that is unnecessary since you can tell general covered areas and if you are going for the explorer titles, be able to find it.

But I do agree knowing that you only have .4%, .6%, .5%, 1%, .2% and so forth in areas would be useful for knowing where you should begin mapping out small areas you might have missed and may not be able to see because the way the map is set up.

This title is supposed to be hard to get. Finding that last 0.2% after you have looked for atleast a couple of weeks is a great feeling, it's a feeling of accomplishment. If they implement this, it just takes away that feeling of accomplishment. I have gmc titles for elona and tyria, and am at 93.5% for cantha, and I am proud of it because it is not an easy title to get and spent alot of time on it.

/notsigned as it actually demean the accomplishment for people who already have worked so hard on the exploration titles despite how much this would benefit people and lower the value of the exploration title because it would be easier to accomplish.

Get out there and hug those walls and remap the entire continent if necessary! You want this free title - go out and earn it!

And an even better idea - a special map option to highlight the areas I've missed

That would be Way to much!

We don't want the game to show exactly where to put your character to get the tittle, we want the game to tell wich areas are we missing and we must explore completely to get the last 0.2% we are missing.

if you want 100% you must earn it... it is not an easy title to get and it should not be.

It is already an easy title to earn as it is. Why make it easier?

I think that implementing such an idea would take the hardest part out of getting the GMC title, the last 2%.
